"Ich erschaffe konstruierte Bilder. Ich stelle fiktive Szenen her, die ich mit einer Kamera aufnehme. Ich selbst spiele die Personen in meinen Bildern. Dennoch sind meine Bilder keine Selbstportraits im traditionellen Sinne. Die Person im Bild ist eine fiktive Erzählerin, so wie es Erzähler in der Literatur gibt. Meine Bilder sind Phantasien, ich repräsentiere eine Atmosphäre oder Stimmung durch die fiktiven Personen. Phantasie ist eine Art um über Emotionen zu sprechen. Phantasie ist eine Möglichkeit um über Emotionen zu reden.

Ich werde beeinflusst von der mich umgebenden Welt, Literatur, Kino und Fotografie, ebenso von Bildern, die schwieriger zu lokalisieren sind, wie Erinnerungen, Tagträumen und Alpträumen. Individuelle Bilder haben keine Titel, ich möchte meine Bilder nicht festlegen, indem ich ihnen Titel gebe.

Bilder zu machen, ist für mich eine Möglichkeit sich mit menschlichen Emotionen zu befassen. Es ist ebenso eine gewaltige Quelle kreativer Energie und Freude, eine Möglichkeit dem eigenen Leben eine Bedeutung zu geben, indem man an etwas von dieser Welt Teil hat, das sonst sehr privat bleiben würden."
